Not every ordeal is done for glory.
Some are completed without witnesses, without medals - only the aching truth that you gave something away when you could have kept it.
This is your invitation to Realize Sacrifice.
Choose one path. Leave something behind.
REALIZE SACRIFICE
To complete this ordeal, you must commit a single act of sacrifice - a physical or moral choice that costs you something but gives to someone else.
Choose one of the following:
- Complete a dangerous physical act in the service of others:
- Rappel into terrain to assist or instruct
- Run rescue drills in swift water or disaster simulation
- Conduct a solo endurance challenge
- Training to be an effective individual will count
- Perform a duty as a first responder or military member that protects, rescues, or uplifts another human being.
- Volunteer your time to a cause that serves others in need - rescue, fire, disaster relief, mentorship, or silent support.
- Give up a personal resource (gear, time, opportunity, or rest) for someone who cannot repay it.
- Buy equipment for a new recruit
- Help a neighbor with no expectation
- Stay behind so someone else can move forward
- You can be creative
- Donate to a rescue, veteran, or disaster-response nonprofit - with intention and awareness.

• Send a short written reflection to @ozakisordeals on Instagram describing your action and what it meant with a photo attached (no photo necessary if discretion required) OR submit video proof of completing the ordeal.
